TO THE

“VILLA DU TEMPS RETROUVÉ” IN CABOURG

COLLECTIVE INAUGURAL EXHIBITION IN CABOURG

As part of a house-museum project, called "Villa du Temps retrouvé", devoted to Belle Époque culture and Marcel Proust's imagination, carried out by the City of Cabourg, two works by Auguste Durst will be exhibited in this mansion built in the 1860s. Marcel Proust, who stayed in Cabourg during the summers of 1907 to 1914, where he began writing “À la recherche du temps perdu” and wrote some fundamental pages, will guide and inspire the contents and atmosphere of this evocative Villa. Lovers of Durst and the Belle-Époque will be able to see the works in Cabourg from the end of August 2020.
